The ideal candidate will apply his\/her working knowledge of quality assurance and test methodologies to help develop and enhance ReloQuest\u2019s cutting edge Temporary Housing software.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 40px;\"><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 20px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation in daily stand up meetings<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaborate with Software Engineers, Tech Leads, Business Analysts, UX designers at story kick off, and give input on the story with a testing perspective.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the story kick-off meeting, create and document test cases.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exercise your software development knowledge by writing automation using the latest in novel test case frameworks.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attend design meetings with business analysts, UX designers, and developers, and give your input from a testing perspective on how to make an application testable.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 40px;\"><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 20px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience working in an Agile Environment (Kanban, Scrum)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to write and test code in an object-oriented language, preferably Java. (Go, Node.js, C#, Ruby are also accepted, but must be able to ramp up to Java easily)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience designing Test Automation frameworks from scratch<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Functional test automation tool experience (e.g. Selenium, WebDriver, Junit, TestNG, Nunit, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with Black Box testing techniques\/methodologies and how to apply them (Positive, Negative, equivalence class partitioning, pairwise, state transition, boundary value, decision table, and Usability test types)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience testing APIs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowledge how to perform a manual test based on given story requirements<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Non Functional test automation tool experience is a plus (ex. JMeter, LoadRunner, ZAP, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selenium knowledge\/familiarity is a plus<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 40px;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 20px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience testing Microservices<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CQRS design patterns<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience using Page Object Model pattern for test automation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Performance testing (Load, Stress, Endurance) using JMeter, LoadRunner, ZAP, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with NoSQL databases<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to write intermediate SQL or NoSQL (Cassandra, DynamoDB) code is a plus<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Security Testing<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowledge how to properly create bug reports using Jira bug tracking system<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 40px; margin-bottom: 100px;\">Interested Candidates should forward a resume to: <a class=\"color1\" href=\"mailto:jobs@reloquest.com?subject=Software%20Test%20Engineer\"> jobs@reloquest.com<\/a> with <strong>Software Test Engineer<\/strong> in the subject line<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to work within the ReloQuest QA Team on mission critical quality assurance and test initiatives in support of our Business and Development departments.
